言葉の通り “つまむ” を意味する造形をフレームデザインに落とし込んでいます。
眼鏡を掛け外しする際、必ず触れるポイントを潰したようなデザインです。
指の収まりがよい『つまみ加減』と王道のクラシカルなシェイプをアンバランスに仕上げた『くずし加減 』は YUICHI TOYAMA. 独自のデザインプロセスから生まれる遊びと機能を併せ持ったオリジナリティを表現しています。
また YUICHI TOYAMA. を象徴するレンズ周りのメタルインナーリムにオリジナルのパットをダイレクトにロー付けすることでフレーム中心 = 顔の中心であるブリッジ付近をすっきりさせました。

We have new YUICHI TOYAMA items in stock, so we’d like to introduce them to you!
A new theme added to the YUICHI TOYAMA. collection is “PINCH”.
The frame design is based on a shape that literally means “to pinch”.
The design is like crushing the point that you always touch when putting on and taking off your glasses.
The “pinch” that fits your fingers well and the “break” that is an unbalanced finish of the classic shape expresses the originality that combines playfulness and functionality born from YUICHI TOYAMA.’s unique design process.
In addition, by directly soldering the original pad to the metal inner rim around the lens, which is symbolic of YUICHI TOYAMA., the area around the bridge, which is the center of the frame = the center of the face, has been made neat.
The design, size, and familiarity with the face are all wonderful.
